My work is collaborative, supportive and goal oriented. My approach is integrative, combining mindfulness based meditation practice; with tools from several treatment approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play, Trauma Focused CBT, and Parent Management Training to fit the needs of my clients. My style is supportive, intuitive, warm and directive when needed. I have worked in private practice as well as mobile, intensive outpatient, and school-based mental health settings in New York and Florida. This experience in multiple settings has given me the tools to support, teach and advocate for my clients.

I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)  both in Florida and New York State, with extensive postgraduate training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Parent Management Training, and Crisis Interventions.

One of my specialties is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  In this modality, I lead and co-lead adolescents and adult DBT skills groups and provide intensive individual DBT services including phone skills coaching. I also have extensive experience treating trauma including PTSD. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, the most effective treatment for trauma-related difficulties in children and adolescents. In my work with young and school-age children, I use Parent Management Training (PMT), a program that assists parents in managing their children's behavioral problems, both at home and in school.
